Hey,
Suppose I jumped in the deep end abit and build an explorer and just had some follow up questions from it.
The Miyota 8215 came with a plastic case frame which fitted right over the movement and also the dial sat on it nicely.
One of them also came with some brackets and bolts for a dial spacer, which I did not use (correct right?).
The watch case came with a plastic dial spacer thing, which I did not use (correct right?).
Anyway I'm just trying to figure out how this all works as it confused me that it came with extra parts, perhaps this was just to cover the alternative movements that the case was comptable with?
Most other watches I've seen has a metal dial spacer, is this all just dependant on case and movement options?
Is there a way to know which movements don't require any spacer for the dial or would this also be dependant on the case? Please help deconfuse me!
