Call him first. He'll get you straightened out on your questions. I believe it is possible to use some (not all) ETA parts on the A7750. Honestly, if you want a service, he's a great local option. If you need parts, you are better off just swapping out the movement for a new one.

funny, I just saw his store yesterday. I was at the post office across the street from him. I was thinking about stopping in to see what he had.
I remembered you living in the area, I kept missing Js GTGs before I relocated. Bummer!

Called Mike yesterday
He can do service on the 7750 but he has no parts for the Chinese movements . . .
So if something needs to be replaced . . .
Also Mike is asking more than Vac to do a service
Gonna send it to Vac . . . safety wise ;-)

,, so how much does mike charge for 7750 servicing eg when I get a new piece and want to service right away.

dudes, here's the trick... When one of these A7750s craps the bed on you.... just part out a watch and get a new one. unless you can find a guy to do it cheap, Service is worth it on Swiss movements only. Mike is charging the same price he would charge on a genuine Valjoux movement and honestly that's about what the Market runs.

Got no problem with Mike's price

But the parts is my problem :(
