Since the 111 and 177 hit the market, the 288 is a thing of the past. Or is it...?

I never liked the chrono rad. Why ruin such an elegant design with that rehaut, subdials and chrono pushers.

It's super fugly but maybe the best watch rep ever.

The historics models are crack anyways:snort:

Not so (for me anyway). Wore my 288 to a holiday party last night got 3 compliments! I like the dial layout and I never run my chronos for hours at a time anyway so I don't really need a third subdial.

Don't get me wrong, I will get that titanium beauty soon enough. But the 288 will stay in the stable. :)

288 is more of an elegant watch imo. As compared to the 177 or 111 which strike me as more of a rugged/everyday watch. They are both difference styles honestly. I have a 288 and I have a nice Cordovan black leather strap being made for it. It'll give it the classy look it's meant to have.

288 is great for suits and dress-wear if you ask me.
