I'm in the market for a PAM super rep somewhere around 44mm. What are some member opinions for my first PAM rep? I prefer highest possible quality and closeness to original of course! Money is no object! (That's obviously a joke or I would be buying a gen!)

Sandwitch dial? sausage dial? Black dial? Brown dial? Auto? Manual? Gmt? Chronos? luminor case? Or 1950's case or radiomir?

We will gladly offer our opinions but we need your help determining your taste and what you are looking for

Or....... Check out ALE's guide to PAMs and just pick out the super reps and find one that best suits style.

417, 111, 088, or 390. Just buy whatever. You'll end up with ten or more anyhow.

Personally I like the look of a 111 or something like a 312. Really it just comes down to your own taste

Hi and welcome. If going for a submersible 243 or Bronzo are gorgeous.

Without any further ado the starting point is here: http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/...bo-you-have-chosen-today-************/page345, just move backwards in the thread and get what You really like. I´d value high quality and looks in the first place and put the closeness to gen in 7th or 8th because possibly You just end up excluding too many (open caseback difficult/ complications difficult/ flybacks a no-go etc.). Everything first class rep and above is fine, but that´s just my opinion, give it a thought.

Welcome here! 111 will be a "safe" entry to the Pam world if you are looking for a Luminor case. If instead you would like something more classy with Radiomir Case either 380 or 388 will do the job.

as other said, review Ale pamguide and if you will then provide more info about the type and colour of the dial, the style of the case and so on.. Members here will be more than happy to give you right directions.

at the end you will buy a lot of them in any case!

Thanks for the info! My decision is delayed due to the Chinese New Year.. Rep watch factories grind to a halt! More time to deliberate..

Buy the 45 mm Rad PAM 388. It is exceptionally good crafted, kind of a "scary" rep. It was my first rep and I am fully satisfied. Am currently working at a review. But again, its 100% worth the money.

I loved both the 029 and the 111. Currently wearing a 029 daily.

Is there a list of just the super reps? I've looked at the thread, but there is SO much info. I wrote the ones I liked down on paper, then lost the paper [emoji34]

Search in the page for (**) and in a few minutes you have the full list. If you're using the excel database you can create a column and add this info so that you don't loose it again. Hope it helps...

Also had the same question on deciding on a first rep and first Pam. I just ordered a 111 and looking forward to get it soon.
