Hey Gents, I don't wa t this to come off as a "What Pam" do I get question, but I know it's pretty much exactly what this is.

I currently have a 411 and really like it!! I have to say though, the winder always has me nervous about remember to wind and lower reserve.

My first question is on the power, how long should a fully wound Pam go for? 19-24 hours??? More or less?

Onto thoughts... I prefer to have a Pam thats 44mm (just fits me best). I like both white and black face Pams, and have to say... The cream numbers are just cool!! I would like to get an auto with a solid back... Absolutely no "cronom" as I already have many Watcha with that function. Secon hand is ideal, and as long as the power reserve is accurate, i like this feature as well... If it's not, scrap the idea. I will lastly say, I'm not a "date" on my watch guy but, if they are done right, it's a useful function...

can anyone tell me if there is a "super rep" out there that hits my "want"? Help and thoughts would be awesome!!

btw, I like both cases so this is not a major factor... I do prefer lugs vs the "bars" that some Pams use

Fully wound A6497 movement should be closer to 42-48 hours, but there are variances on both sides of that.

On your 'want,' the 027 could be a good choice, but not cheap and not widely available. Also, while it diverges a tad from some of your tastes, the new 087 may fit the bill as well. If neither of those meet your fancy, the 359 is always a good choice.

There are different kind of manually wound movement that reps PAMs uses.

1. Is the basic 6497, you wounded it until you can't wound no more, power reserves around 46-48hours.

2. P.3000 clone, I don't know what kinda movt that uses as its base, but I believe its a real clone because the balance wheel is located at 7 o'clock where's the 6497 located at 11 o'clock plus it have double mainspring, power reserves around 5 days less or more.

3. P.999 clone, this uses the Seagull ST/TY2555 (without its automatic modules) as based movt, winding it around 40 times, power reserves around 32-40hours.

027 is one of the most beautiful watches ever created by PAM. At Davidson remains affordable model 027b. This is an excellent choice.
