So I over-vintagized a little.....

I accidentally cracked the crystal trying to put some nice dents in the case and bezel. The roughing up was done with 180g sandpaper. Looks a little more abused now!

i kinda like it...gives it real character instead of just a fake vintage look..

:( Oops......nevermind, it gives the watch character imo. Fair play to you for giving it a go.

yea it's beat up. like it's actually old and used :) i dig it; mistake or not. it kind of gives you more freedom to go further with the rest of the look if you want to.

You should replace it with acrylic..>>>

Then you can fcuk it up any way you want to!!....
And if you don't like it, clean it up with PolyWatch, and start over...
IMNSFHO, the cracked look sucks...

IMO everything is spot on other than the crack. I say get another crystal, vintage it while it's off the watch, and then install it. Best of both worlds.
