So... I got my Pelagos last week.

I received my Pelagos last week- and boy, I was ecstatic! The way it felt, the way it looked- I was pretty happy.

Then I turned the bezel: loosey-goosey.

The bezel is a little wobbly in all directions, but more up/down. Moves around ~1 mm, enough (for me) to notice.

This is the first rep with a rotating bezel that I bought that has this issue. I spoke with the dealer and they mentioned that this is normal (this wasn't disclosed at the time of purchase and I haven't seen anything in this sub-form about this issue being common).

Could this be something that is easily fixable? I'm a fan of this watch, and while I know reps do have their flaws, I'm just slightly disappointed about this one...

I have the v6 with no wobble. If it is zfac then it will probably wobble....

A bit of slop in a bezel is pretty common in reps as a whole, so probably doesn't get a mention from most people providing it doesn't spin around by itself!

Its usually an easy fix; flip the bezel off, put a bit of extra tension in the spring and reassemble.

I like a nice definitive 'click' and index of the bezel, so often tighten the spring and check the teeth are all nice and sharp with no fluff or swarf in them.

I've never had a loose bezel on a rep. The most common bezel flaw I get is a bezel that doesn't align exactly at 12.

Same.

There was a remedy for loose bezels with a little dental floss string.

I have both versions ZF and V6 and those bezels are tight as titanic in a bathtub. They turn and clic but don't move 1/1000th of a mm in any other direction.

Could be easily or hard fixed by opening the insert, you just need a knife to level and lift the bezel up and check if it is the V shape spring's issue. If somehow the spring is misplaced, easy if it snapped, then hard :/

No atm. Alot have been lamenting over ZF quality not only for the Pelagos but also you know the 7750 Portuguese, the chinese that bought them keep returning to the factories for service. Though I would give credits to ZF for their design aesthetics but I think their QC can be much much more better than this.

I know, the watch Is not bad at all But that play in bezel drives me crazy.....I have seen your post about V6 version 2, but How Is the play in V6 bezel? Have you read something about it?

I know, really dissapointed with ZF. Another flaw about ZF Is that Is really difficult to have a well aligned dial. Hour marks are all over the place, I had to reject two watches before getting mine (which is not 100% aligned by the way).....
