SMP bezel font

I noticed a couple of SMPs on the bay that have a smaller font than usual for the numbers on the bezel. You can see that they have the minute mark dots showing underneath each of the numbers, while most have larger numbers with no dots.

Is this genuine?
Did Omega change bezel fonts or perhaps this is an aftermarket bezel???

He placement look's correct, so does the hand size and bezel/insert. I'd say it's a gen... :wink:

Yeah just like Rolex or anyone else. It can change from year to year or year in year.

There are a lot of other differences in these two watches other than the bezel:

Dial font
Date window size and location
Date wheel font and size
lume area on the hour hands
"swiss made" text
"chronometer" text

I'm guessing the one on the right is a quartz model.

btw - the one on the left is for sale as a cheap (depending on repair cost) wreck on the bay.
