SMP 300m: will any other Omega bracelets fit?

Do any other Omega bracelets fit the 300m while still accepting the SMP clasp? I'm more partial to oyster-style bracelets and had hoped that the PO bracelet would fit the 300m, and then I could swap the SMP clasp so that it would not say "Planet Ocean" on it. Fakey told me that would not work.

Any other suggestions? I realize that this will detract from the accuracy of my rep (switching my bracelet), but I really like the look of the PO bracelet better, but I love the SMP 300m case.

If it can't be done, I can certainly live with it, of course. Just wanted to check though.

So you have a 2531.80 full sized watch correct? You pointed to the mid-size. Anyway, those 2 watch bands should interchange with each other. With Reps though you always risk factory A and Factory B mismatchings'.

I will add, the only problem you will have is the model you want, in repdom, it has the incorrect Speedmaster clasp. Yuck! You could try wholesale outlet on ebay for a generic.

The bracelet you are looking for looks like the type that are on Speedmasters. I bet you could find a used one to try out on this site if you are patient. Just so you know, the Speedmaster-style bracelet is not a constant width of 20mm for the entire length like the Seamaster Pro and PO. The Speedmaster bracelet tapers down a link or two in from the pins and has a much narrower clasp.
