SMP 2254.50 big lume experience

I was wondering if anyone had any idea of the difference between the SMP 2254.50s reps that are available to buy. Some have the cheaper movement and some have the ETA for $120 more. As there seems to be a general debate as to if the ETA movement is genuine or even much better I was hoping that someone could enlighten me on this particular model based on their experience with it. I have not bought a rep yet, though Fakemaster is preparing a regular blue SMP for me. If anyone could let me know if they own the 2254.50, and if there is a huge difference between the cheaper and the more expensive one, i would be grateful. I have seen one for $108 from watcheden and one for $259 from ruby. I probably can't go wrong with the cheaper option, but a heads up would be handy.

This is a good question, and I was wondering about that too.
Then I went for it and bought the blue SMP from Fakey with the asian 21j movement.
I´ve had it for some days now and I must say that it keeps excellent time, it gains about 5 sec per day. That is as good as my Archimede Pilot with genuine ETA 2824-2 movement.
The seconds hand on the Archimede moves smoother though.
