Smooth, no frills no nonsense purchasing experience

My first post on this forum.

I had a decent experience purchasing a VSF 3235 Rolex Yachtmaster 126622 blue dial through Hont.

I identified the watch, messaged Hont on WhatsApp asking if he had it in stock. He said he did and quoted me the price. I told him I’d think about it and told him one day later to put the order through.

I transferred via Wise and payment was confirmed by him. I then sent him my address details (Singapore).

A day later, Hont sent a comprehensive set of photos and videos for QC. Watch was at +7s/d which was acceptable for me and all other specifications and video/photos checked out. I greenlit the watch.

A day or two later, Hont sent me the tracking number. 8 days thereafter I’ve received the watch and it looks in good condition.

Overall, not too many issues with purchasing from Hont who has one of the lower prices amongst the TDs.

Good first experience, but we’ll see on the next few watches that I purchase from Hont and if there’s any complication, how Hont will resolve such issues.

Thanks man. Now the next challenge is to resize the oyster bracelet. Not too sure how to do that so just purchased the required screwdriver online. Perhaps I’ll update when that arrives and my process in doing so.
