Hey guys - just getting started around here. I currently have a gen Omega Railmaster 2803.52.37 (the discontinued one) and love it. I'm looking at some of the rep PAMs and love the design but 44mm is way too big for me.

The Railmaster is 39.2 and I think is just perfect.

What PAM reps are made in the 40mm size?

FWIW I like the classic look of the 000's

Edit - Sorry is it just the 048/49 that are made rep wise?

I thought the same.

Then I got one, and I love it :)
Me too. A simple PAM, like a 112, is fine at 44mm. You'll get used to it. I now even have a couple of 47mm PAMs and they are fine too. Watches are big nowadays.

Hmm, the more I cruise around the more I'm leaning toward just picking one up. My new problem is it is so hard to decipher the differences between the many models, on top of that I keep reading how (not the real letters) an m is better than an h model but only if it came from this factory.....

I love researching things, so this has successfully distracted me from work ALL DAY.

I think I am leaning towards a 111 but each post gives me another option to consider....

edit - Like the 390 I just stumbled upon and also like...

Edit 2 - now I'm leaning towards a 112 M noob from Puretime

^^ You sound EXACTLY like me, circa 2-3 months ago. I picked up a 359 from a fellow member and love it. I have a 111N on the way. Keep reading and keep learning, that's the name of the game :)

Decided to pull the trigger on a noob 112 from Trevor. Pics already exchanged now it's just a waiting game.

You'll love the 112! Now you MUST get a good aftermarket strap for it. I don't want to recommend anyone because there are so many good makers out there. I've bought from Gunny, Savage, and Panatime and all three are beautiful.

Congratulations, but be warned: one PAM won't be enough!:dig:

Thanks, I've been all over the strap posts here and this might be a harder decision that which watch. So far they all seem very thick but I'm going to wait until the rep comes and then see what's what.

ALE delivers the Pam facts as always! Thanks. Dont worry about 44mm being too big, its def not. I have a 6,7" wrist and wouldnt mind the 47mm pams.
