OK so I asked for some V1 pic's previously non showed up so here they are by the grace of my own fair hand!
I went for the V1 blue dial (the V1 was apparently made using blue dial gen), it comes on a blue rubber strap, which by the way looks fantastic.
Just quick summary, V1 half lume blob, well on my watch its spot on, and looking at the face to be honest it looks like a small round blob rather than a half lume blob. People bothered by this should forget it. Unless your eyes have 5x zoom you are not gonna see this at all.

Dealer wise I went with our own D4M (daytona4me for the noobs) on his group buy. Brilliant comms, got back to me straight away with answers and very pleasant with it. Very rapid delivery too, watch sent out on 22nd and arrived 27th had it not been for the bank holiday (a lot of places are shut at this time) on monday it would have been here yesterday I expect. I would definately buy from D4M again. Thanks Greg.

Dial is fantastic, level of detail on the chrono dials is amazing - so detailed its almost beyond the resolution of my eyes!

Only issue with my watch is the pearl - on mine its not spot on, slightly offline/wonky in the way it is set into the bezel (it has not been set in flush into the outer marker thingy if you know what I mean). I suppose I could rectify this by buying a V2 dial (which apparently has a better bezel) but I will leave this for a while I think, it isnt that obvious.

Lume blobs are pretty good-

Half lume nicely done-like I said from sitting here and looking at the watch this looks like a small round lume blob rather than a big 1/2 lume blob

The caseback looks bob-on to me.

Breitling and my Onitsuka Tiger

This is probably the clearest shot of the pearl -

Finally, the obligatory wrist shot!

Am I pleased? No, Im made up! :D Thanks for lookin' in fella's.

IMO you can't go wrong with this watch. I bought a V.1 and a V.2. I couldn't justify the extra cash for the V2 version, so I posted it for sale here. Half dot didn't bother me much and the printing on the dial was actually much more crisp on the v.1. Only significant difference I noticed was that the pushers sit out further on the V.1 than the V.2. Congrats.

Cheers Trevor, its an impressive watch and as you say, the V2 definately doesnt seem to be worth the extra wedge (cheapest V2 can be had for is $250 plus postage (35$ from silix) compared to $187 all in on the group buy - OK, granted this version is with rubber/leather and not bracelet, basically $100 more for the V2!).

Im looking forward to getting the bracelet and a couple of brown/tan straps to mix things up but at the minute I have to cool off on my purchases as Ive just been landed with a $2k engine repair bill

Beautiful! Thats the exact combination I'm going with.
You wont regret it Andrew, it looks great!
Having seen this my mate has just ordered a V1 black (i.e. PVD version) skyland from Puretime, I told him to wait and I would email D4M to see what price he could do but by the time I saw him again he had made the order! He was well impressed, he already has a gen Breitling Colt, I wind him up and tell him its a little girls watch, cos it has a smaller face
