Usually when I purchase a watch, after a few months I become familiar with it and like to change to another. With the Skyland, my admiration for it has not yet reached that plateau.

I have worn it on the SS bracelet, the leather strap, and my latest combination is a black NATO strap. If you want to see more combinations check out MickyPadge's post here - http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=89971

It is incredibly comfy, and it gives the Avenger a truly purposeful look. To me, the Skyland on a NATO looks how it 'should' do. Ready to get down and dirty :)

Props are cool... NATO's are cooler.. use of the white curtain to defuse.the light.... priceless.. it's not hard to do and it helps improve your photos.
Nice spread here... good alternative strap here.

Great Watch/strap combination. Great pix. But the props are decidely British. Right, the Spit was probably the sexist warbird, the the American TBF Avenger was the most produced and had more victories. At least it had for airplances made in an automobile plan. Alas, who cares on a Rep bbs? Thxs for sharing and I wish I had your artistic talent !

Thanks everyone. Yes the white curtain is such an easy way to get a nice source of natural light!

The Spitfire is such a beautiful aircraft, and even though I'm British, I must admit if I had a spare £1.5million, I would probably buy the Mustang....it would be nice to be in the position to make such a difficult choice!!

Here are a few from the archives to add a bit of an international WWII theme to the post (pics from camera phone);

I am really glad to see the skyland looks good on a NATO, I have really been considering going with a nato because the SS is a little too blingy for the way i generally dress...

what size NATO strap did you get?
