Skyland Blacksteel with DLC bracelet

First thanks and all credit due to Avitt. He did the work for me and it took some time to get it right, but boy was it worth it!

Here are some quick and dirty wrist shots. I put a few up so you could see the different shades the DLC shows depending on the lighting.

The DLC on the bracelet is definitely a shade darker than the watch, but in most lighting conditions it is not really that noticeable.

Avitt will be following up with a more detailed post with light box pictures of the watch and bracelet. So here are a few teasers...

This was originally a polished bracelet. Prior to coating, I applied a brushed finish to the bracelet, clasp, and end links.

Pity the mismatched colour.
I wonder if it would have been better to get a regular SS v2 Skyland and have the case, crown, pushers, bracelet DLC'd by the one guy/company.

More is the pity that repfactories don't do this.

Did the bracelet have to be dismantled, link by link? Either way, that's a job well done!

polaris -Good question. Avitt and I decided not to take the braclet apart and just "See what happens" Lucky for us it turned out just fine. If you were to inspect the bracelet very close you can find some lightly colored spots were the DLC didn't take in between the links, but in my opinion, it is not worth taking the bracelet apart to get complete coverage in these areas.

As far as the mismatched color. Here si a picture of Gen (Where I got the idea) as you casn see mine looks pretty much the same. The color mismatch really only shows in lighting like the top picture.
