Hi there in the land of Sinn. Sinn U1 in particular.
I, like many i am sure, have been more than a little tempted to grab a hold of the Sinn U1. This Watch really does tick all the boxes for me but there are just a couple of questions i have that i thought maybe someone out there could help me with.
I am pretty sure the Gen U1 runs an ETA 2824 and comes with a sand blasted finished S- Steel bracelet with a rubber bracelet as an accessory. Yes/no?
Whilst trying to choose a good Rep and good Rep dealer (from the trusted dealer sect) I could not find a U1 Rep that used an ETA 2824 as a movement. All seemed to run the ETA 2836 as the Swiss option. I also could not find a Steel bracelet Rep.
Questions: Does anyone have a heads up on a reliable Dealer that provides the Swiss 2824 and also the steel bracelet?
I can quite easily forgo the steel bracelet but i would be really happy to track down the Swiss 2824 optioned Rep if one exists.
Would the other option be to purchase a genuine 2824 and go the transplant route assuming the Hands will fit.
If i have missed in my search prior to this post please forgive.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who may help me out.
Cheers.

When you take the day wheel off and change your 2836 to a 2824 date wheel you have the exact same movement. Rep makers prefer the 2836 because it comes from the factory standard with taller minute, hour and second wheels than a 2824. 2836 comes standard with an H3 set and 2824 is standard with a H2.

The stem height is different on the 2824 and 2836. The 2836 is longer from the dial to the stem,
