(MODS PLZ MOVE TO PAM) silly strap/buckle question

On pam rubber straps, are there two sizes /widths ? (I.e. one for tang buckle?)
And what exactly is a tang buckle - is that term interchangeable w deployant?
Because i know rubber straps come w either tradional pre-v clasp or deployant

Interesting you posted this in the Omega section but here we go......

Deployment straps and tang style straps are different unless you have a deployment buckle for a regular strap. A deployment strap is usually much thinner than a regular strap

A Tang is the little poker doodle that goes through the holes on the long side of the strap.

When you see measurements like so.. 140/80 24-22

Long end / short end. Lug width - buckle end width

Did this quick on a phone, thought i did pams (mods plz move)....
So a deployant RUBBER is thinner generally then a tang RUBBER (which i referred to as clasp?)

Is there much difference in comfort/quality/antistatic properties between a rep rubber strap and a panatime dive strap ? Thx
