Silix Economy Range

Hey guys

I know I will be slated for asking this but just how good are the Silix economy Pams as I had my eye on this one http://www.silix-prime.com/pan028-p-2357.html to dip my proverbial toe in the Panerai pond. I'm only after 'on the wrist' replication so I'm not too fussed about movement and AR coating etc., so for $62 a pop they look quite good value for money.

I have bought 4 watches from Sillix economy range,

Tag Monaco
Omega special offer
IWC Pilot
Jacob and company


Tag - awesome love it good quality strap, looks good
IWC - again really good, wear it quite often
Omega was a bargain, good watch

only dissapointing one was the jacob, it looks OK, but strap catch is a bit hit or miss, and it is very light in weight, which makes it feel cheap ( which it is!!)

all the others are great, I would recommend them as sellers, transaction was flawless

In terms of Pams, sure they will be fine

No one should hound you over your choice of watches....get what you like and what you can justify monetarily....and enjoy your watch!

I have ordered from Silix but got my budget PAM from Timeshop, my only reason was I wanted the 6497 manual wind movement and not a 21J. Otherwise I have liked the quality of Silix.
