The chrono register do something but do not act as a chrono.
At 9 : is day of the week, 12 : month of the year, 6 : 24 hour hand.
The pushers adjust the subdials, they do not stop/start the chrono.

it's super easy to spot...
Subdial at 9 is marked 1 to 7.... what is 7 in time ? days ? = Fake chrono
Subdial at 6 is marked 1 to 24... It's at 6 while the hour hand is at 6 too. So It's a 24 hours hand = fake chrono
Also, always think twice when you see ALL the subdials not a 0.. It's not normal (unless the chrono work for hours, which no dealer ever do to take picture)
