I see Silix has 3 Omegas @ the $35 special price. Are these the ones I have heard of with the misspelling of seamaster? I cant tell from the pics on his website. Also, what is the quality of the watch head if I decided to buy these, and replace the bracelets? Thanks Fellas.

I remember some new-ish members raving over these a couple years ago. I don't know about the quality now. You're only out $35+ shipping if you don't like it.

Are you referring to a PO? The spelling error is on the clasp--like Rob said, it reads Seamastei instead of Seamaster.
I wonder what the dial might read.. They might be clever in hiding the end of the Seamaster.

I bought a Seamstei. It's actually got a Speedmaster-type clasp with the infamous misspelling on it. The bracelet feels unfinished and flimsy. The shape of the case is dreadfully wrong. It's got a bargain basement A21j movement. The bezel insert as about a half minute off.

I love this watch. I wear it often. I've got more straps for this than any other watch I own. The face and hands are somehow very aesthetically pleasing to me. I just like looking at it even with the abysmal case. I'm really fighting the urge to go for a better version of this thing with the red numbers.

For $36USD, I say buy it.

Of course, when I buy from Silix I buy 2 watches just because the shipping is covered. Now, I've purchases a $36 Rolex sub (blue) and gave it to somebody else and they managed to lose the bezel insert within 2 weeks. That's kind of appalling, but it is a $36 watch after all.

P.S. Forgot to mention the lume. The lume on the Seamastei is pathetic.

I picked up one of the three blue wave dial seamastei's. For fifty one bucks shipped I couldn't resist. I will laugh every time I put it on! I also got the other planet ocean on special. I plan on gifting it to a good friend of mine. He is a couple beers short of a six pack so to him this is genuine! Merry Xmas!

As others have said, they're really not too shabby for the price. I, too, have several of the "specials," and for the money they're not a bad investment. I haven't done too much to mod the two Omegas I have; to me, they're just fine the way they are. Am I worried about what others might say in public? No, because of the "99.999%" rule: that much of the general public will have no clue -- if they even notice your watch at all; it's the other ".0001%" you'll have to contend with; and when asked, 'fess up. Ain't no shame here.

My order was confirmed and I await my qc photos... not really needed in this case buy hey why complain? I look forward to getting them! I have been a watch collector for many years but the world of replicas is very new to me. There are some fantastic people in this industry, I am about to place a multiple watch order with fakey and I really respect his wisdom and guidence. If you happen to speak to him send your condolences to him and his family, he recently lost his grandparents. Since I am a squid I am currently photographing my collection that is at this moment all genuine pieces. Expect some beautiful watches and beautiful firearms my other passion and weakness! I look forward to learning and diving into replicas head first!

For $35, you can't lose.
This is my favoured daily beater, had this one about six months.
It's full of tells, but I like it.

Twat.

I ordered a pos watch and paid pos money. I received exactly what I ordered and wanted. When I saw this thread about $35 Silix specials, I posted a picture of mine to let the OP know how happy I was with it.

Now if there's something that you (or frodostar) find difficult to understand about that, let me know and I'll type it out in block capitals.

Best you get back to watching your cartoons now.

I've got the $35 PO and while it isn't accurate in the slightest its a cool watch in its own right; some would even say legendary for the Seamastei misspelling. I used it as a beater for six months before it died on me and I quite miss it:boohoo:

I wasn't trying to insult you mate, I appreciate your input and pictires... they were half the reason I bought two... I just thought the comment was self explanitory. For 35 bucks you can't expect much so why people are commenting on quality for price is beyond me. My apologies
