It looks like many people overlook these watches Panerai has introduced since everyone is fascinated by the new case-technics.

I present you the watches that are most likely to be repped due (no pun intended) to the closed caseback and the fact that it's a different take/dial on the existing watches.

The Pam727 (312)

Really like the 724 'cause of the blue in the dial.
Will go well with the rubber strap with blue OP logo.

Interested in what you guys think!

Cheers

Very nice, really really want the 726 (or 526) if VSF can do the Flyback movement!

That's what I'm hoping for as well. If they're able to replicate the Flyback movement, do the new models first and then come back to the old ones later. :D

724 is very nice with that "pop" of blue.
Like the 726, very busy dial.

No chance to use a 7750 based movement for the 726. because the pushers are at the left side at the 726.

Not to mention the rattrapante button is @4 o'clock, instead of @8 on the normal rattrapante. I guess that would be a faux button anyway if someone found a suitable chrono movement with the pushers at the left side.

@mysterio for what it’s worth it looks like someone took a stab at replicating this :

- I noticed this never got repped and I’m sure this is low quality ($137 On DHGate) but it was good enough that I thought I’d search for 526 and let you guys know it exists and the DHGate seller can be reached at: WhatsApp + 8615537160164. I’m actually not super negative on DHGate. I found a BP Explorer there that was perfect in the same browsing. Good luck and let me know if anything comes of it!!!!

Well upon checking, although it is not available at a TD here, it is in the catalog of a TD at sister site RWG, so it means it is obtainable by our TDs (they just don't see benefit of posting the model on their websites):

All the pushers are faux and the chrono needles are just following the seconds subdial @9 with a fixed angle between the orange and blue chrono needles (which IMHO would have been better just fixed @12 or at least with the two needles at the same position) and the subdial @3 is only following the minutes hand at an offset (not sure if the offset is adjustable by the crown turning counterclockwise at the time set position). Also the open caseback exposes the undecorated movement obscured thankfully with the signed rotor. The factories could just have added "AMERICA'S CUP" on the dial and a matching closed caseback and you would have a slightly improved PAM726, but not by much. It's a bit more expensive at the dealer for $158 but regular customers could probably get one at a lower price to match the DHGate seller pricing.

Ah good catch and worth the $20 because DHGate has an open back.

I just ordered one, always liked this model, and almost got the gen a couple of years ago while in Florida.
Will let you know how I like it when it arrives.
Cheers!!
