Side by side No Radiations rep and BPFF rep

Don't distract your self with the case, size, strap, date wheel or the lighting. These two reps are beautiful and exactly the same in many ways. It is the bezel and dial and overall feel that I want to compare.

The original BPFF that I have had for several months has a less busy feel. I like the triangle markers. I notice the bezel markers and numbers are just slightly light green. I don't know if that's true to a rep. Classy and elegant but sporty at the same time

The No Radiation surprised me because I thought it was EXACTLY the same dial and bezel with the radiation icon. I was happy to see I was wrong after studying the two together. After exhaustive google image searching I feel that this No Radiations is dead on. Doesn't really matter since we will never see one in the wild (500 exist). Major differences are the even spaced bezel markers, vintage dial marks and the obvious but subtle hints of red and yellow in the 6 position. Overall this leads to a cool and interesting look

I can't say I like either one better. Because I work in an environment where radiation is an issue I like the novelty. So at this point I will keep both. They are real stunners

Isn't radiation an issue in most environments? Just curious but I guess in labs measuring even the most minute radiation it could be an issue. This isn't magnetic, cosmic or radiation from the light spectrums or are we just talking nuclear radiation from machinery or natural occurring elements. I imagine tritium would definitely be a no no.

They are both nice diver watches.

This is a tribute to the first line of watches which did not use radioactive Radium paint to make the watch glow. As advertised, these watches with non radioactive lume were not dangerous hence "no radiations" was prominently displayed

Thanks for sharing this mate!
I've been wanting a BPFF for a while now, but still torn by the JLC NSD though... Decisions, decisions... :culpability:
Judging from your pics seems that the "regular" FF is closer to gen than the "no radiations", specifically the date wheel font and the yellow/red icon - seems too subtle IMHO.
Cheers!

I think it was the iPhone pics and lighting. The no radiations is just as solid as the other.

Beautiful, both of them. Is the no radiation 42mm? While I do like 47mm PAMs the normal 45mm FF for the type of watch it is wears a bit big 4me.

I'm the same situation. I like both watches and can't make the final choice. The FF seems a bit too large. Haven't been able to check out the gens in person.

What size is the strap at lugs and buckle? Sead is getting me one and since I have a big 8.25 wrist I will need a custom strap probably from Hamilton

In regards to the No Radiations ask your TD to check the crystal is level, its not a simple fix.

Well just as a follow up for future reference Tagfan1 fixed my uneven crystal and waterproofed the watch. He had a lot of good comments about the construction of this watch, so if your on the fence don't hesitate. you may recall my watch is the Blancpain NOOB FF with "No Radiations" dial. I'm sure the quality of construction inside and out that Tag was impressed with apply to the regular NOOB FF as well.
Pictures when the watch returns.

Just got this back from Tagfan1 today, he did a wonderful job of leveling the crystal that passed my Loupe test with flying colors!!! A+++ Tag. I also installed a Hamilton cordura strap that I had Eric make for my big wrist.

You and your LOUPE!! Haha
Glad you are happy with it brother!

Anyone looking at buying one they are very well built the construction of the case, fitment of the movement, etc are excellent. But yes make sure you have a level crystal! Not a simple fix.
