Here's a poll to vote on....

Since Seanf has a long history of making disrespectful comments, should I remove his ability to see the section at all? The Panerai section of the forum would cease to exist for him....

Please vote!

Dude, the only reason I even stop by here is by accident. Bloody PAMs. Seriously, dude. You have 12 PAMs. One or two I could understand, but 12?!?! DUDE. THEY. ALL. LOOK. EXACTLY. THE. SAME. And with all the money you've spent on dials, straps, hands, movements, crown guards, cannon pins, more crown guards, PAM refrigerator magnets, PAM baseball caps, T-Shirts that say I LOVE PAMs!, PAM Coffee Mugs, PAM Tote Bags, and flowers for some random girl named Pam, you could have bought about four or five really nice gens. So, dude, just admit you've got a problem and we'll work on it. Acceptance is the first step.

It's not that I despise PAMs. It's just that I can't see what the fuss is about a watch that looks like it was designed by a fourth grader with limited drawing skills.

Yep, a PAM-ban is in order, I believe.

I mean are we really surprised that a guy who likes Rado watches doesn't "get" PAMs? That's about as shocking as Richard Simmons being a Greco-Roman wrestling fan....

I'm not a huge Rado fan, but at least not every single one of their bloody watches look exactly the same. I swear, if PAMs were any more dull, they would have to have an alarm built in just to wake you up from staring at it.

To make Sean feel like we are not picking on him, you can start a Rado section and lock me out of it.

I know this may be in jest, (or not, who knows), but I for one would like to know if it's possible to remove sections from specific members viewing? I know that sections like mods and VIP sections can be, but can you do this on a specific member basis?

If it were, I would have limited LoS' ability to view stuff to only those posts dealing with PAMs a long time ago. Of course, he probably would never notice.

in a word, yes....

we use the capability most notably for what we call the "no sale" group... they can not see any of the sales sections... if you want to find those users, they are denoted with the color of feces...

So, in theory, I could limit you to only the Panerai forum, correct? Just something to think about.

Serioulsy I can never tell what is going on with you two. Not sure whether to say 'Get a room' or 'Wal-Mart Parking lot..Midnight'.

Hey Sean there si a Panerai alarm model I believe. :p

And I see people dropping a chumk on the new WM9 Sub. If it makes sense to them I always say go for it.

Oh yeah. If the Pam thing causes him so much pain then why take it away? Just make it so he can see it but not post there. Then he can only watch it unfold and cry.

I'm like the boy in the story who told the emperor that he wasn't wearing any clothes. If I keep on telling people that PAMs are silly, silly watches, then maybe, eventually, people will start believing me. And LoS fears that day. But the day will come, LoS. Oh yes. There will be a day when we'll all look back on the silly PAM craze and say to ourselves, "Boy, what were we thinking?" Much like we now view plaid patterns and bell bottoms from the 1970s.
