SF 690 v2 just arrived

Maybe you can ask Ryan if there were improvements made to the 690 which combines the V1 dial with the V2 midcase and crystal. OR if he can ask the factory for a custom build (which will probably eventually be a V3 later on). But worse comes to worst, you might have to choose which version is more accurate to you. Personally, I'd choose the v1, because the sunburst is so much a part of the PAM690. And then maybe ask if you can buy a spare crystal for the V2 and have the crystal swap done locally. ;)

Any chance of getting some additional close up shots of the dial from Ryan? It appears to have the sunburst dial but it's really hard to tell. Did he let you know what changed in this V2 model update?

I really love the blue dial and I will add this to my upcoming order if the V2 is even a bit more accurate with the sunburst dial :)

Sunburst looks weak on this v2. I had the v1 and the only parts nice about it are the straps and dial.
But if SF is using the same dial as v1, then it'll be very good.
But by comparing the KW and SF v2, it looks like their dials and sunburst effects are the same. KW sunburst is relatively weak.

Hmm well I hope they didn't release a V2 with a worse dial and still the wrong case. I guess it's supposed to be Sapphire now

Hey guys... in the ZF novelties thread by angus, I asked why ZF seemed to skip the 690. He suggested it was coming. My advice would be to wait... ZF always bests SF with these limited release PAMs.

I keep missing out on 690's in M2M sales. Maybe it's for the best, as there could be a "better" version on the horizon.

Can an owner please tell me if the current SF V2 is the same case as the 372?
