In regards to the proprietary movements from VSF i.e their P9XXX series calibers, how do members here service them? Service as in regular service or maintenance.

Or are the watches just thrown away once they stop working?

Any recommended watchsmiths?

I dont know what most members do, but considering the movements are usually a clone of a fairly widely-available movement, I would look at the forums supporting vendors. I personally send my watches to strodda for servicing. He's pretty spot on for customer service and servicing ability (CONUS). But yeah, take a look at the supporting vendors or maybe try asking in the general forum. VSF uses the same movement as a bunch of other factories.

VSF don’t use the same movements as other factories. And VSF clone movements that they put in their panerai watches are not clones of widely-available movements. They used to put eta based movements but that was long time ago. VSF pam v1s were ETA based.
V2s are clones.

Hot damn rcom you are a walking encyclopedia. Thanks for clarifying. I honestly didn’t know that.
