Well... I think I found a way to breathe new life into my favorite watch... A Omega SMP Chrono rep with a broken A7750 movement...

Enter Sellita... The SW500 is a direct, drop in replacement for the ETA7750.

Sellita’s latest creation, the SW500 Calibre meets the growing demand for Swiss automatic chronograph movements. An impressive combination of quality and absolute mastery of horological techniques, this movement offers the same high performance and level of reliability as an ETA 7750 movement.

Automatic chronograph
SW500 13 ¼ ’’’ calibre
25 jewels
28,800 vib/h (4 Hz)

Diameter: 30.00 mm
Height: 7.90 mm
Hours, minutes, small seconds
Automatic ball-bearing winding-mechanism
60-second chronograph
30-minute and 12-hour counters
Date and day, corrector
Stop-second device

These will be great once they are released. I'm really looking forward to later this year when they are finally out!

how available will they be? I've been looking for SW200 for a long time and can't source it anywhere. Wonder if SW500 will be the same prob. It doesn't help us any if they only source to Oris and the sorts.

DRC, there is no shortage of SW200s.
I can get them here no problems. Try MReplica when he is back on deck.
He can get you one in GZ.

Here is Australia Ken, not worth shipping OS at current pricing. Besides, it's a SW500 you want, yes? No sign of them hitting our shores as yet but they will.

I hate to raise an old thread from the dead... But...

Will this drop right in to a gen Speedy pro? I have everything but a moment. (Got wet)

Not an expert, but I doubt it would work for the speedy pro. As I understand, the pro uses a hand wind lemania not a 7750.

If it uses a hand wind Lemania, wouldn't a Seagull ST19 movement be an appropriate replacement?

The SW 500 and the Valjoux 7750 are of the same size and use the same hands. But the Asian 7750 have a different chrono hands size.

The "Rep Lemania" is a Chinese Venus 175 (Seagull ST19xx), and have nothing to do with the "swiss lemania", so the gen Omega speedmaster Pro dial won't fit.
