Well, I don’t want to burst your bubble either, but I worked in that industry in Milan a couple of decades ago. Honestly, it all comes down to luck — sometimes it’s a charming little boutique (where things could happen between Saturday night and Monday morning), other times it’s just a Zalando-style warehouse. In the latter case, everything stays packed in cartons until it’s ready to be shipped.
