Sell the Gen and get the Super Rep??

Hi Gurus,

I have a Gen Seamaster, but the bracelet does not suit me, and it quite itchy every time i wear it, might be too loose or something...

I'm seriously thinking should I just flip it for more Super Rep like Pam, AP or Rol?

That's really up to you mate... Don't expect the finer details of the gen and overall perfection to be present in the super reps though because often that is the difference between the two.

Don't, just stick with it. Wash your bracelet with some detergent powder and it will shine.

I say stick with it unless you are selling it to upgrade to another gen. The gen will have some sort of sustained value over time. Thirty years down the road, you won't care about the $1500 or $2k gained by selling it now.

I say if it annoys you, sell it and buy the REP, but buy a different GEN. It is nice to keep a few GENs in the collection..

Sell it if you don't like it. And if your looking for value retention, indeed buy a sports rolex. They only go up in value, and are also more comfortable to wear. (except the deepsea, i tried to get used to it for 2 years, finally gave up and sold it)
