Seiko Blue Baby Tuna (SRP453) - photoshoot!

I managed to snap a few shots yesterday of my Seiko Blue Baby Tuna that I bought from RWG member "HWG" earlier this month!

This is one of the Seiko 100th Anniversary limited editions, model number SRP453 with the 4R36 automatic movement.

I thought they were autos with a 4R36?.. Almost pulled the trigger on one of these but the plastic shroud turned me off. Now I'm regretting not grabbing one. Great piece and photos mate

Yes, it has a Japanese mechanical (automatic) movement.

That's a great looking tuna! Been thinking about a blue samurai, didn't realize the tuna comes in this color.

I think I will eventually succumb to this one....It's a great looking Gen......Not sure if one should mod it with a SS shroud...but I read somewhere that it's not an easy swap but then again I read that there are only 3 screws sorta things bolting the shroud to the case so it's not that hard....Anyhow this one looks great as is and I've already started looking for it's cheapest price.....thus far it's around the US$260 mark....does it get cheaper than that or that's it.

I got mine this week for about $278.

It says blue monster but pictures the blue tuna and gives blue tuna model number. I definitely got the blue tuna. It came via USPS yesterday.

The 455 comes standard with the same type of blue rubber strap as on my 453 in my pics. Shark mesh is after-market.
