Does anyone here have any experience with/insight on the Capt. Willard reps I've been seeing on eBay? They're obviously not a true rep with the shark dial and all, but I'm wondering if there's a TD around here that would ship them with a Seiko aftermarket dial. It seems no one would go to the trouble of making this if there weren't a true rep available somewhere.
I'm aware it's pretty easy to get an aftermarket 6105 dial on eBay, but I'm flunking watch repair so far. I'm also looking for advice on the movements, and whether they are a hunk of junk.
