Greetings, seeking advice from any and all knowledgable PAM enthusiasts...

Acquired a PAM 251K Noob Factory with a A7753 a couple of months ago in a M2M transaction. Unfortunately, the A7753 movement has failed and no longer functions.

My simple question...is there an ETA movement that I can plug and play equivalent to the A7753? Do I have any other options besides purchasing another A7753 movement to plug and play?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

What I recall is that even the ETA7753 is not compatible with the Asian version so the only option is to use another A7753 movement. To use an A7750 movement instead of an A7753 would result in a sunken datewheel.

One more noob question...would you know where to source a new A7753 movement? Would it be something I'd have to contact a TD for?

Thanks again.

As I have not sourced a movement personally, I would say yes. There is also from time to time, members who sell off parts because they needed some part of the watch and not the movement. Keep an eye out for those. But in a hurry? The TDs should be able to help. I've heard good things about Torobravo and Puretime being able to source parts. Good luck!

The new Noob A7753 watches (post 2013) are compatible with the Swiss 7753. I have done this swap many many times. However, it will be expensive. You will need a movement ($650), a datewheel ($70) and a watch smith to enlarge the center chrono hand ($50). Not cheap, but if you love the watch it might be an option.

Thanks for the suggestion. Glad someone has successfully swapped a Swiss 7753 into a Noob A7753 watch.

This forum is awesome...thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Anyone have any input about H Factory? Thinking about pulling the trigger on the Pam 224 Firenze, which uses the 7753. I figured I could swap it out with a swiss 7753 if I like it enough...

Yes the Swiss 7753 will fit in the H factory case
