See my 127 and 217, side by side

Both the 127 (fiddy) and 217 (destro) are Davidsen models. The 127 is on a Mario Paci XIII "3646" in Noce Moscata and the 217 is on a Toscana Vacchetta in Amber. Both straps are from TC Straps. I have been very happy with both watches.

Some interesting differences between the watches:
The 217 crystal is more concaved (raised in the center) than the 127 crystal, which is slightly flatter.
The black dial of the 127 has a more matted finish as opposed to the 217, which is shinier.
The lume is better on the 127.

Very nice photos, and beautiful watches too. The 127 I have from Davidsen has the 'H' movement you see in the 217, a faux paux for sure, but still a great movement, maybe even better than the 'E' in the 127 as it is 'supposed' to be. Not that anyone is ever going to notice, one can always say it was a special order, which indeed it is. :shock:

Thanks for your kind responses. I am relatively new at the rep game. I purchased a Patek Philippe and a couple of Rolexes before I got into Panerai. I feel like I am truly a Panerai fan now and hardly ever wear my other watches.
