second rep purchase, first order with steve

i couldn't even wait until my first rep arrives, i already had to order my second one.

i chose a ZF Omega Seamaster 300m with the white dial, black bezel on steel plus an additional rubber strap.
06/03/23 i contacted steve first time and got instant responses via whatsapp
ordered and funds sent the same day
later in the evening i already go mail from him, stating that it could take a while to source the watch and asking if i'd like to wait.

i already asked if he can provide a timeframe as to when i could expect QC
i'm fully aware that this could be something only the gods know, but asking doesn't hurt imo

will keep this thread updated as soon as something changes

EDIT: well, while typing this up, he already responded via mail.
steve said it will take approx. a month to source both the watch and the strap so i decided to wait.

IMHO ZF is still not fully back on the track after CNY and the launch of Tudor BB Pro isn't helping at all.
If you have a look at the active threads in the Omega section, you will find out that other users are waiting for their ZF SMP's since weeks - even with some unexpected surprises here and there.
But hey, patience is the key and good things come for those who wait

i asked steve if a VSF one would be easier to source, once i get that reply i'll decide.
i went for the ZF one in the first place because of the lume color as well as the crown guards.

not sure if i could withstand the offer of a VSF now vs. a ZF in a month tbh

Just wanted to give another update

07/03/23 ich changed my order to a VSF one, because i was advised it would be much quicker
20/03/23 after not hearing anything for 13 days i decided to change my order to a ORF breitling superocean, steve told me this model would not be in stock, but much quicker to source compared to the omega reps i previously ordered
23/03/23 recieved QC pics and videos. my request to open the caseback - to confirm a sw200 is installed - was unfortunately denied, "it would damage the watch". i had the option of GL it and then opening it up or GL it and send it directly to me. since this doesn't make a difference to me tbh i chose the "ship directly" option. I have to open the watch by myself anyway...
29/03/23 i recieved the tracking number. as of today (11/04/23) no updates regarding the tracking
