For this order, I purchased an Omega VSF Omega 300m Divers and a JHF Omega 600m Planet Ocean. The second watch order processed a little faster than the first (thankfully)………….having already placed one order and received - I was not so anxious about the waiting period as I have a better understanding of the process and how it all works now. I've included the timeline broken down into 2 parts: One for the watches (2nd order) and one for the boxsets that I purchased with both orders.....Unfortunately, I haven't had the same luck with those.
Watch Timeline (2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Order)
4/26/2020 – Placed order for two watches/2 boxsets (second order) – received invoice and payment instructions.
4/26/2020 – Made payment – received payment confirmation.
4/28/2020 - Received QC pics for first watch (second order). Refused watch #1 due to timegrapher setting/readings.
4/28/2020 – Received QC pics for watch # 2 (second order). Approved.
4/30/2020 – Received 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] set of QC pics for watch #1 (second order) – Approved.
5/12/2020 - Received FEDEX Tracking Number for 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] watch order.
5/18/2020 – Second watch ordered arrived (23 Days total -pretty good considering the COVID-19 delays).
Boxset Timeline (1st and 2nd Orders - 4 boxes total)
3/24/2020 -
4/26/2020 – Placed order for 2 boxsets (second order) – received invoice and payment instructions.
4/26/2020 – Made payment – received payment confirmation.
5/12/2020 - Received tracking number for boxsets (second order) from Andrew.
5/14/2020 - 17Track shows movement (leaving Hong Kong) on boxsets (first order).
5/18/2020 - Notified that my boxsets (second order) have arrived in the U.S. USPS scheduled delivery date is 5/22/2020.
5/22/2020 - Boxsets (second order) did not arrive today. No further updates on boxsets(1st order).
I'd like to throw a question out there. All of us are aware of the COVID-19 situation...….but some people on this forum have been waiting an EXTREMELY long time for their merchandise to arrive (3-4 months). I'm also aware that once the order is placed - it's pretty much out of Andrew's hands at that point. However, is there anyone here that has attempted to contact him and discuss a refund or possible credit......how was that request received? I haven't really seen any posts that address that issue.
Don't get me wrong.....Andrew has been great and helpful throughout both of my orders...….but when I contact him periodically to remind him I haven't received the boxsets yet, the best he can do is give me an update off 17Track which is about all I can do as well. In other words, at what point do you request a refund or a credit?......2 months?...……..3 months?...……..4 months?...………….never. Any information concerning that topic would be helpful.
Just ordered a Noob Rolex Sub V10 and a Panerai Luminor Marina CarboTech…..keeping my fingers crossed this next order will be processed and arrive as quickly as the first 2.
