I placed an order with Steve for a Panerai PAM 1312 VSF.

This is my second order with The One Watches. The first order for a IWC Mark XVIII went smoothly so I decided to place an order with him again. I’m happy I did.

Just received the watch today. Timeline:

December 12, 2022: Down Payment send
December 17, 2022: QC received and approved
December 18, 2022: Full Payment send
December 21, 2022: Tracking number received
January 17, 2022: Package received in Europe

Just like with my first order, Steve was reacting both fast and friendly to my emails and WhatsApp messages.

The payment went smoothly via PayPal.

Steve sends QC pictures and videos. A video detailing the watch and a video where the watch was connected to a measuring device to show the synchronization in seconds per day. Below are the photos I took myself.

There was some confusion with the tracking number but Steve solved this quickly so I could follow the package and be home to receive it.

In conclusion I am satisfied with how the ordering, payment and delivery process went.

The One Watches stands out positively for me when I compare it with other TDs. In particular because of the fast, correct and friendly communication. When you read the messages, you can feel that they are written with a smile and with interest. As an entrepreneur myself, I know that this is the way to build a long-term relationship.

I'm wearing the watch for a day now. I’m happy to notice that the rotor noise is quite low, and operating the watch feels great.
Also important, the watch looks really amazing. Also, the leather strap is nicely made and feels rather supple. But I changed it to the rubber Panerai strap I ordered from Etsy (for around $50).

Let's see some pictures!

Its a BIG watch hey !
Nice, and wear it in good health.
Thank you!
It looks bigger in the close up images. In real life it's okay.
I do have small 16 cm (6,3 inch) wrists so 44mm is rather big. However, my 40 mm gen PAM 125 was getting smaller and smaller in my mind. I like this 44mm watch much better!

The watch runs neatly, in practice the deviation is currently +4 sec per day.
It therefore even meets the cosc standard.

'One of the criteria for chronometer certification is the average daily rate on the first 10 days of testing: from -4 sec to +6 sec., or up to 10 seconds per day. A tolerance which, as such, may appear high, but which, in reality, is the result of an extraordinary requirement.

Even if a watch gained 6 seconds every day, it would mean not only that it was remarkably regular, but also that the error made after one year would be equivalent, using the metric system for comparison, about 7cm for every 1000m'

So Steve's measurement is very close to reality:

Replica oblivion…
Time it in different positions and see how you go. ( face down , on its ride side , on its left side etc… )
You’ll likely see a much greater variance.
Also the 316 amp is a bit on the high side if I’m honest, so it may be that it was fully max wound and then placed on the grapher immediately. Any higher it would have been overbanking.

I am already very happy that it stays within 4 seconds in practice, while wearing the watch.(y)
