Hey rep fans,
I've just made my second order with Hont (and my first since joining here).
I was introduced to reps by fixing up an old broken 6542 GMT Master build for a friend a while ago, and loved it so much I ordered my own 6542 rep from Hont a couple of months back. I've since serviced the movement and given it some light ageing and it's fast become my favourite watch! It's currently on loan with another pal but once it's back I'll be sure to take some glamour shots and post them here.
Anyway, I've been itching for a Tudor Black Bay 54 so I reached out to Hont a few days ago. Here's the timeline so far:
28/12: Messaged Hont on WhatsApp asking about availability.
29/12: Hont confirmed ZF factory BB54 was in stock, quoted a price of $308/HKD 2398.
30/12: I sent payment via Wise, Hont provides QC pics within a few hours.
31/12: I GL QC, and Hont confirms payment was received.
1/1: Hont provides a Cainiao tracking number and I start waiting (im)patiently!
And that's where we're at. So far Hont has been just as prompt and helpful as last time around, which is great. I'll keep you all up to date!
