Second hand fell of my 005k

I've been meaning to post this for three months now. In late August I was involved in a high impact car collision. I suffered no major injuries but was thrown around like a rag doll.

I spent a couple of nights in hospital under observation. The major casualtly though was my high beat 005k which I love. It took me a couple of days to realise that the sweeping second had was missing and is now lodged between the hour and minute hands.

Question: Is it fixable?

I'll try and put some pics up tomorrow.

Maybe tightening the tube of the hand a bit as well.

I feel like this is risky to someone who has never worked on the inners of a watch before... there is potential to crush the pinion.

if badwing has a pin or something really thin that fits well into the seconds hand tube, then go ahead, but otherwise, its somewhat risky.

It should be able to get fixed. Hands flew off my watch in our car crash.

If you cover shipping man I will attach it again for you if you can't do it and if you are in the conus

Thanks for the replies guys and thanks for the offer Coldi, unfortunately I'm UK based.

I don't have the capabilities to do this myself. No way!!! I'll try my local guy. If he aint up to it I can see my pam spending Christmas in France.

Yep. Simple fix for a decent watchsmith just involving stem and movement removal then setting the hand back on the post...But more importantly glad to hear you are doing alright. You have really been through it this year and that only means 2013 will be a great year for you.

Best wishes to you Paul.

Hi, in the airport on my way to the in laws. I'm extremely upset, Firstly I'm going to my in laws, Secondly I dropped my Pam005 v2 noob whilst going through security . The minute hand fell off. Can someone please send me instructions or a link that explains how to remove the movement in a Pam?

Thanks
