Recently went to add a HRP Monnin cased watch to my wrist, as a daily beater. Chronosport, CWC and Heuer 844 are inflated crazy. Came across this SeaQuartz brand, made by a tool-watch loving micro brand w Ronda 715li and bidirectional tight bezel, original color scheme w a blacked case. Version BDE
I have hated on quartz long enough, it works in this watch. The feel, balance, bezel play, lume- all incredible. 500$ new I grabbed for $200(lucky). Compared it in person to a H.R.P. Brand Monnin diver powered by VH31- just feels and is machined much tighter. For some reason, I don't want to take it off. The Monnin case is IMHO an excellent design for 300m WR with no frills.
