Hello RWI comunnity,
I’d like to thank you all for this amazing forum, and all the effort place into allowing people that love watches to connect all around the world.

I have recently purchase my third watch. It is a Seamaster Diver 300m ZF and I would like to hear your opinion with regards of the 12 o’clock marker in QC Pics that were shared by my TD.

What do you advise I should do.

Appreciate your inputs.

Hello and welcome.
To be honest I was about to get irritated when I saw the first picture with all those lines. Here it comes another one looking for perfection in a 400 $ watch.
But then I saw the next picture and I see what you meant. Maybe I would ask for a new picture and explain the TD that it doesn't look good. I have seen things look very distorted in some pictures.
If the picture is correct it would probably irritate me in the long run.

Thank you for the feedback.
I have recently purchased a Black bay 58 and the marker also looks a bit crooked to me but since it is just one at 12 o’clock I am ready to live with it.

I am not actually sure how much should I expect from a good replica, for now i have asked for a strait photo where I can clearly see the dial and markers as in the one that was share with me the watch rested in a table sideways.

Thank you again.

Well a good replica is not a gen but still there should not be things that irritates you by being clearly misaligned. Good call to ask for a new picture hopefully with better resolution.

Yes, definitely ask for a picture as square on as they can get it (y)

But !! That is a highly magnified picture, my view is that unless you walk around with a loupe glued in your eye socket I very much doubt that will be visible at the normal watch size and eyesight alone.
Secondly there are many other watches that have the same flaw with the double @12 markers.

Chances are if you RL it, the next one could be worse, batches from factories tend to have the same fault.
Your money, your choice.

IF you can see it, and it annoys the hell outta ya then it will be fairly easy for one of the RWI Trusted watchmakers to remove and refix the indice ;)

Well that is very interesting, I did not even consider that as a possibility.

But specially in this watch in which the dial is ceramic is should be achievable with low risk on scratching the surface.

Great Input Dave, Thank you!!

If a watchmaker scratches a dial he really isn't !! (A watchmaker) 🤣

Sure, I scratched one, got finger print on one and knocked a marker off one in my early days as a novice fiddler, that's howI found out how easy it was to re attach them :D

These days I wear the correct finger tips, use the dial protectors when removing hands etc and, well, (touches wood) .............................. I haven't damaged any more dials SHHHHHHHHH ;)

TD is Intimewatches, he did send some more photos.
I will trust it is just a distortion issue on the photo, the watch actually looks amazing.
if crooked I will either live with it  or send it to a watchmaker as @Dave2302 has pointed before.
