Hi all

I seen Sead post a couple of new pics on his telegram account just messaged him for some details.

Unsure how they compare to previous models. What do the experts think of how they look?

What was the the best rep of this model previously? Was MKF the one to get?

Need more pics to tell. Yes, MKS was the best of this model. Great thing about this model is the closed caseback. Don’t need to worry about movement decorations.

Unsure of the factory. Meant to come with swiss movement.

I had read about MKS and MKF and couldn't remember the difference. OMF didn't look as good

MKF was renamed to MKS at some point in time. I wouldn't focus on it that much ;)
The watch in OP does not look like MK. Swiss ETA movements typically are supplied in BP/GM reps.
Do you have more pics (like side-profile perhaps)?

Are you saying these are still availiable? i absolutely love the black SMPc, it is by far my favourite SMP, forget all the special additions etc, the gloss black dial just looks superb, i’ve had a couple of gens but sold them to fund more expensive projects, now have the blue rep version which is excellent but still not a patch on the black one, it they are still available i will certainly buy one, or if someone has a black they want to swop for a blue version then i’m your man

Actually I might have got it wrong. He said
"its so called o.r. f" which might be the name of the factory not "orf" which I read it as.

They are available but around $629 plus shipping (I'm guessing because of the Swiss movement) I'm not sure I would like the gamble without seeing it more. Not at the current exchange rate anyway

Hey guys, sorry for bumping an old thread here, but I couldn't find another one for this rep. I am looking at purchasing this watch from TT and see that there are two choices/factories available: BPF and OMF. The OMF is V2 and the BPF appears to be V1. Prices are comparable.

Any experience or thoughts on which might be the better pick of the two? Thanks.

Sorry to bump such an old post but am on the verge of ordering BPF SMPc. Any inputs from you here? :)

I remember it was a tad thicker than the MKF and not so compatible with gen bezel.
Again, that was true 5-6 years ago, not sure if the latest BPF releases are different.

It is a great looking watch anyway, I like it better than the current SMP.
Imho you just need to swap the horrible bracelet, preferably with some Uncle Seiko
