I would love to build a Seamaster 120.

Only thing i've found is the below kit on Etsy for an extortionate £350. Obviously its not ideal but does seem to be the only option I can find so I might go for it in the future if I can find a cheap, replaceable movement and gather the confidence to build it.

It looks like there's a dial spacer or movement tab that made to fit genuine, gen would be a bad option for me, however if I can get a direct fit that's more readily available and cheaper, preferable that doesn't need lots of fiddling with custom/random/unknown size dial spacers or plastic movement holders?

There are 2 listings that look identical but have description of:
  1. REQUIRES CAL 565.563.752 OR SIMILAR DIMENSION/SPECS MOVT
  2. Requires Cal. 601 manual wind series movt
I haven't got as far as seeing if there are any new movements that match the dimensions but would love to hear peoples thoughts to scope viability. Especally on the dial spacer/movement tabs as I don't really understand this area of watches and don't want any unknowns or complications/misfits.
Thanks :)
