Hi all,
I have been a member of this community for years, now I have a problem and I am looking for support.
I purchased a Daytona 116520 CF V3 from Sead-supermirror a few weeks ago.
I have made many purchases from him, without problems.
Now he tells me that the bank transfer I made is blocked, and he asked me first to send him my name, surname and date of birth, and then to send to another email of his the request to buy a drone helicopter, with the photo attached of the helicopter and my bank transfer.
I'm a little worried this time, has anyone had similar experiences?

sounds like you're not dealing with the real Sead. What email address have you used?

If you have bought already from him I am guessing you have the right email address and all the right contact info.
If everything is legit, may be he have to justify what is that he is selling you and obviously he can not mention a replica watch
So selling you a drone is not wild.
But this is just my humble opinion, let see what other fellow members will say !

many watches from him, never any problem, always via the correct email. This time he told me to pay by bank transfer and not via PayPal. Now attaching the bank transfer with my name to send to third parties really doesn't make me happy.
I hope everything goes well, it was probably better that he told me to proceed with PayPal, as always

He already had my name from the shipping address, I just added the date of birth which shouldn't be a problem, and I sent the fake drone email. And that's all, he thanked me and everything was fine.

I would recommend communicating with him on a different platform, like here, if you feel the email communication is sketchy.

So he's not asking to actually make a payment for a fake drone, just to shoot him an email implying you're buying a drone....thats fair and understandable.

I used to buy with Sead too, but this never happened to me. From what I read from the info given by you, it's likely the bank is following his trail, which means the bank is suspecting him of trading counterfeit goods, so he has to ask you to provide him info and declare you are buying a drone to deflect the bank. If not, he can't get the money from you but still have to send you the rep you purchased. But this is all my guessing, so take it with a grain of salt.

From what I heard and dealt with Sead, he has never defrauded any members here. So I suggest it is better to communicate with him through email and PM here to clear this thing up.

Excuse me, but obviously after many problem-free purchases, this situation alarmed me. I don't like my data circulating among people. Next time I will only proceed via Paypal.

Exactly, I already made the payment for the watch, he didn't ask me for another payment, but just an email in which I say that that payment is for the drone, for obvious reasons

Maybe an idea to leave some reviews for your past purchases....

Far too often members come here for an answer or a resolution/help, and are always very quick to leave negative feedback, but if the transaction was successful, a positive review should be left. Counteract some of the negativity.

Yes, good to notice others what's going on here.

I hope he can get this through without a problem. If he can't set this straight with the bank, we might have a bigger problem later on if he can't keep the EU business.
