the actual strap from on the watch is a bespoke strap made on my request by one of the best strap maker on the market for genuine watches : John Glance from DANGEROUS9STRAP - Germany.
Original strap with all the lugs as per photos, please consider that the leather custom strap us made for a 17,5 cms wrist, 2 holes on at 17cms another one at 17,5cms, can eventually make another one at 18cms but it will be the max.

Antiqued Blue Alligator Strap for Rolex Deepsea D-Blue
Hi strap lovers. Antiqued Blue Alligator Strap for Rolex Deepsea D-Blue- When my good customer Olivier contacted me to build a custom Alligator strap for his Rolex Deepsea James Cameron D-Blue, he had a very specific idea in mind to have a deep blue Alligator strap with black accents in order echo the Blue fading to black dial of his lovely D-Blue Deepsea. After a couple of sample iterations, I finally struck on a color combination that he was looking for. It’s essentially a custom deep Royal blue Alligator with black hand antique highlights (or more correctly low-lights). He combined this with lime stitching, lining, and edge paint to achieve the color that you see here. Also, the design specification for his strap was to include our ‘Fully Integrated Fit (FIF). The Rolex Deepsea watches look particularly great with our integrated strap fitment, as the gap between the standard straight end strap and the watch case is quite large. Additionally given the bulk and weight of the Deepsea, adding the notching a the lugs to bring the ultimate with of the strap to the outside line of the lugs at 26.5mm, then tapering back to (in this case) a 24mm deployant clasp really better secures the watch to the wrist and offers a much more balanced wrist feel. Watch was purchased for 498 USD + 50 shipment with Trustytime art 3 years ago and has been wore occasionally.
