ScrewDriver Recommendation (for 292)

I recently acquired a 292 through a M2M, but it looks like when he swapped the original ASSO band back on, he only very loosely connected the bars back to the case (so much so, that one fell loose and nearly became lost at the office today).

I have a small screwdriver set (including a 1.4mm), but it seems as though the the edge of the blade itself is too thick to fit into the slots on tops of the scews on the 292 case. I need an even sharper screwdriver it would seem to allow me to sink into the slots more....

Anyone have a "go-to" screw driver they can point me towards that they use for their Panerais?

For reference, this is the kit I have now where the bottom edge is just too thick to fit in the relatively slim slot on the screws:

I just use some fine sandpaper on a flat surface (I used a glass table) to sharpen the tip of a precision for a Radiomir

There's several posts here recommending sets and such. Do a quick search. I want to say it's 1.2 and be sure to use loctite, the red container or jewelry grade. I use the red. The bars can work loose.

Thanks guys. When I searched, I found people saying 1.4mm was the correct size for Radiomir, but my 1.4 didn't work. I purchased another set from Amazon this afternoon that includes a .8mm and a 1.0mm....hopefully one of those will do the trick.

Bergeon 1,4 works perfectly.

It wasn't the width of the blade that mattered....as my 1.4 is the same as yours. It was the thickness of the pointed end (perhaps mine was coated or just not as fine a point) that wouldn't fit within the screw head. Remedied by the Amazon kit.

Thanks for the feedback, all.

I would like to buy a proper screwdriver, too. I will take a look at old threads and will see what you have recommended.

I purchased FoxNovo Precision ScrewDrivers from Amazon. Its a set that has .8mm-1.6mm within the set and worked well. The quality isn't super high...but they work quite well and should be totally fine for an enthusiast swapping straps sporadically.

there are plenty of watch tools on amazon or e_bay, for really good price.. no need to spend money on "swiss" tools (if you aren't an enthusiast).
