Screw pin or spring?

If case has one hole larger than opposing side, does that mean it was meant for screw pin vs. spring?

It does but on ebay you can get spring bars that have a faux screw on one side and a smaller bar on the other side, i prefer these to a screw in bar but either is fine

Toshi does them too, simulate the look of screwbars nicely.

Here's my issue. I'm trying to attach the SS bracelet. The tube size is too large for bracelet opening. I think the screw pin alone may be too small? to keep end link properly seated. I see that tube is 2.6mm. I doubt I can find a 1.8 or 2.0 mm tube out there though.
