Hi all,

I have made the mistake of purchasing a BT V2 daytona through a non trusted seller.

I paid through Paypal goods and services not family and friends.

Today i received the watch and it had the BT factory stickers on it. But the watch is not BT factory. The movement is a 7750 not 4130. It appears to only have the BT stickers.

What would be the best course of action here? I sent the seller a message. But do I also have some sort of protection from paypal?

Thanks in advance will post pics later today.

You could make a claim for goods not as described, but that would mean explaining to PP that you purchased a counterfeit watch and whilst you received a counterfeit watch it's not the counterfeit watch you paid for.

As tripdog mentioned....

Only thing you can make a "work around" is - You bought a watch with a specific automatic movement inside and the received watch has a different movement inside.
Perhaps this could be a possible way it could work ? (with no comment / mentioned a "REP watch")

--- edited comment: you are now a very long time member here and bought really from a complete "unserious" source?
These Daytona are available at our TD's and are also popping up here at M2M

Hi guys.

Yeah i bought from fentony (asian7750) when i jouned this forum. With very good experience. I am not very active in the rep game these days. it has been a long time since i bought a rep so i figured to give this store a shot. Bad decision obviously. 10/10 will go with TD next time.

Maybe i will this unit on the forum and take my loss. And order from fengtony. Its not a super bad rep just not what i ordered.

I am wondering what the best way would be to fight this with paypal. The above makes sense. But i am wrong for purchasing a rep aswell. So not sure if that will work.

Thanks anyways guys!

You might try asking for a partial refund. Before I discovered RWI and TDs, I bought a watch using Paypal on Etsy. The watch arrived and, while beautiful, it wasn't the watch shown in the pictures (date was aligned differently and the movement lacked decoration.) Filed a "product not as described" dispute with Paypal (with pictures) who contacted the seller and we negotiated a partial refund ($90).

Dispute it brother. I'd avoid mentioning it's a replica in any way or your account will get closed. Tell them that the watch you ordered does not have the same movement as advertised. Tell them it was advertised as a custom chronograph movement, and instead you received a non-authentic 7750. How you'll prove that without showing it's a rep, I have no f'ing clue lol. Also try contacting the seller and see if he'll do a partial refund before raising a dispute.
