My title says it all. Sent the guy money for a watch. He promised he would get out within the hour and ship it. It’s been eight hours. Haven’t heard anything back as soon as you got the money. My gut told me he was a crook, but I really wanted to watch and I wanted to believe there wasn’t shitty people like that out in the world. I will live, but don’t get burned yourself. Just passing it along.

honestly beginning to see why the older members feel the way they do about new members. if you followed the guidance and dealt with either a TD or a green lighted sale this would probably not have happened. or you are a troll stirring shit.

"Magnus sig" is active with many different usernames on repgeek. And probably all the forums. He scammed a bunch of folks over there recently. Ask me how I know

I don't worry about being scammed. If I sell something, it's not to the person that pays the most. If I buy, I usually will know the seller. Common sense is an amazing thing.
Getting scammed sucks regardless, sorry to hear about your situation. There is a special place in hell for scammers…

Hey man. Sorry this happened. Be sure to ask around about a guy before you pay. I have a question. Not sure if you have addressed it. But he wasn't lying in those screenshots actually... about payment protection. There is kind of this myth about goods n service providing protection. But the truth is paying w a damn credit card on your pp is the way to go. If you did? I suggest you reach out to your cc company. You can get a refund. How do I know this? I was scammed by a customer. He got his watches and then called his cc company. Claimed he never recieved. And without even notifying me or talking to me. They just charged back my account. I literally had zero say or recourse. If you didn't this time. If you have a cc I suggest you do it in the future.
I once sent a Tudor overseas on ebay, guy did a chargeback, said it was never delivered, ebay didn't even discuss it with me, just took the money... last time I ever sold on ebay and their fees are ridiculous!
