I think, we have to see RL-pics of this model to make further conclusions. This is a hard one to rep, there are many many potential flaws. The subdial of the Gen is imo not matt, but I may be wrong. I have never seen the Gen in RL ;-)Thank you Steve for sharing this new release.
1rst pic is gen obviously. The SBF dial seems to have a sun-brushed treatment but the subdial is shiny when gen is matt. Too bad.
Yes it is.Isn’t SBF = VSF? Just branding
Nobody knows ;-)Isn’t SBF = VSF? Just branding
LOL yesNobody knows ;-)
SBF says so. But who would believe a group of Chinese product counterfeiters?

This CGI, no? If so, that would explain the sundial.. the Gen from the pictures I've seen doesn't appear to be concentric circles that would give this affect... I'm not too bothered about this release, unless in hand pics of the dial show a lovely sunburst affect, a sucker for a nice sunburst dial.
This photo is from a review from Horobox. Yes, probably it´s CGI. Like often it is very hard to judge the structure of the dial and subdial from all this studio photos. When I am in Frankfurt next time, I will visit the AD and have a closer look if this model is on stock. This CGI, no? I'll try to post pics later but found a couple of pics on Insta that may point to the dial also being glossy and not matte, then again, like you've stated, could be due to lighting, etc... I don't go for gold watches but I am getting tempted more and more by this, less so now by the 1287-89 refs. This photo is from a review from Horobox. Yes, probably it´s CGI. Other pictures don´t give a clear answer - if you have ever taken photographs of the 605 (sunburst) or the 692 (glossy dial and subdial), you know that it depends on the light, wether the dial looks glossy, matte or anything else.
But I am also tempted to give this SBF a chance. Even if the structure of the dial and/or subdial is not 100% genlike, the watch looks imo great ;-)
Yep, it´s a strange watch ;-)Found this, with close up video of the sub dial, looks matte...
