So this is Dougie, the latest addition to our family. He's 8 weeks old, we collected him yesterday.

He's also the reason for my inactivity these last couple of days. This little bundle of love needs constant attention.

He melts my heart.......and bites my fingers!

He looks sorrowful in the pics, but he really has settled in well. He's a happy, playful soul. I think I found my new best friend. :)

Oh yes........he looks like an absolute bundle of joy P. :)

I've added an extra leg to my run so I'm on the road for longer now, just got home today.

The bad news to this new run is that now I'll be home for six days every second week, so the forum will have to put up with me for all that time. :D

Great looking pup BB. You bet... they'll steal your heart but their love is unconditional and you won't find better companions.

He's gorgeous mate! Brings back memories of when mine was that size - they are not long in growing into an enormous puppy btw....;)

I see he already likes the rug - they are also quick to know what they like. :)

It's a lot of work to begin with but you'll get there in the end.

Congrats!

Hard work? Feckin' hell, tell me about it!

He's doing great with his turds, after three days he's either using the training pads or the gravel pit I made for him outside. Only trouble is, he thinks he can piss everywhere.

Fortunately our kitchen and hallway are tiled (they're the only places he's allowed at the moment, with an hour in the evening in the living room) so it's easy to clean up.

I'll be so glad when he's properly house trained. You can't take your eyes off the little bugger for a second. It is hard work, but I'm enjoying it.

Cheers. :)

 Yup, they piss everywhere!

We were the same with keeping our's in the hall and kitchen for the same reason. Our lab is also cage-trained and that helped with the house training cause they don't like to pee in their own den/bed. ;)

Have fun!
