Is Davidsen the only one that has a fiddy with a sapphire crystal? His fiddy is a little out of my price range and I'm looking for alternative dealers.

If your looking for a fiddy with sapphire and can live with worse lume and a canon pin that is way too low at a much lower price than Davidsen.. check trusty and josh.. they both sell one in the 190usd range... its not a bad one to try the 47mm Pam size out.
I'd guess that if Josh/Andrew can source, so can pretty much any dealer you choose.... poke around on their sites or toss off emails.

I bought three PAM127 watches so far and two of them have a crystal explode on me. I have had Ziggy fit a Davidsen crystal in them. The feel of the watch changed (improved) and the fear from exploding crystals has gone too.
Get the watch from wherever you want, but a Davidsen sapphire is a must I think.

I just installed a Davidsen crystal in my 127 and it was completely worth the money. It really does make the entire watch look better. By the way, the crystal in my watch was supposed to be genuine sapphire, but it exploded after being bumped VERY lightly. Verify with the dealer you choose that it is genuine before you give them your money. Sometimes they "forget" to put the word "Synthetic" in front of the word sapphire in their ads.

If budget is a concern, try buying a used 127 from an established member who you trust, then purchase the crystal from Davidsen, or Vaccum. Vaccum will install it too. It will run about $80, plus money transfer fees, directly from Davidsen.
